Class to class, or school to school,
we're rarely in one place for long.
While it can be nerve-wracking, there are also some real joys
to being mobile, and we find creative ways to make the constant
challenges fun and rewarding. Come on in, and share your tips
and tricks, lessons and laughs, from life in the fast lane!
Currently, I work as the head librarian
for seven schools in Soledad, California. I am lucky enough to have some wonderful
aides to share the load with me now, but I worked without any
for a long, long time. I now have too many schools to do lessons by going class to class with my cart.
When I was still doing this, I had a rotating schedule at my schools, so I saw my students only about once a month. If you're visiting
this page, that all probably sounds pretty familiar to you, because
you're at least partly in the same boat. It's hectic, but I LOVE
my job, and probably you do, too (at least, most of the time!)
So tell me what you'd like to see on this page - what would do
your heart good, and keep you going on the rough days. I'll do
my best to put it here for you and all the others who may need
it.
